Tiburtius V. S. Klos, M.D., Ph.D., has an appointment as a Guest Faculty member and Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. Dr. Klos will be collaborating with Scott Banks, Ph.D. to further their research into computer assisted ACL reconstruction and evaluation.

Dr. Klos received his medical training at Leyden University in Leyden, Netherlands and his doctorate from Nijmegen University in Nijmegen, Netherlands. The subject of his thesis was “Computer Assisted ACL Reconstruction”.

Dr. Klos’ main field of interest is sports medicine and sport trauma. He is the author or co-author of 15 articles related to sports injuries. Dr. Klos is on the editorial board of Journal of Computer Aided Surgery, Journal of Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Sports Traumatology Arthroscopy.
